Thanksgiving

I thought I better post Thanksgiving... before Christmas gets here!! Reed, Shelby and myself drove to Vancouver, WA and spent Thanksgiving with Rachel, Mark and Aaron and then we had dessert with the Claytons. We were also able to see Scott and Wanda on Friday. It was a short trip, but we are looking forward to spending 10 days at Christmas.

Sadie Hawkins Dance

Shelby had her Sadie Hawkins dance on Nov 15. The theme of the dance was "Nascar". Shelby printed pics of "Cars" off the computer onto iron on paper and she made these cute T-shirts for herself and her date (from her seminary class) Austin. They doubled with Shelby's best friends Patrick and Heather.

Rachel and Mark visited!

Rachel and Mark came to visit us. While they were here, we got to take them to the condos at McCall, ID. Mark also brought guitar hero to play. We had a really fun time while they were here.

Chainsaw Massacre

Shelby had a Halloween party at the house, last Saturday night. She had 12 kids at the house for movies, food, and hanging out. I made Reed the coolest costume and he was the official door greeter when the kids came.

McCall, ID

We needed a little weekend get away, so Oct 17 -19, we went to the condo at McCall, ID, about a 2 hr drive from our house. We had nice sunny weather. When we were driving thru a campground to get to the view point we saw 4 white tail deer. Our other pictures were taken overlooking Payette Lake.

Yellowstone

Reed's mom Lois flew out to visit us. She was here from Oct 1st - 8th. On the 2nd we drove to Yellowstone Park. On Fri 3rd it was sunny and blue sky, on Sat 4th it was rainy and cold. We saw lots of bison and elk. We saw one moose, some white tailed deer and some mule deer. We had alot of fun. Shelby also got to bring her friend Heidy, for the weekend.

Mark's B-day Present from Rachel

50 yard line, nose bleed section -- tickets for the San Francisco 49er's vs Seattle Seahawks on Sept 14, 2008 in Seattle. The game was ON your birthday!! You were brave going to Seattle to root for the 49er's, braver yet to SIT with Seattle fans wearing 49er's gear!! But Congratulations!! Your 49er's beat the Seahawks 33 - 30!!

Rachel worked hard to get your tickets (on Ebay) and plan your day!!! Hope you loved every minute of it!!

I bought a baby present...

I was shopping at an un-named store, and happened to be looking at baby items... It was on sale and so so cute! Adrian and Dustin... you have to wait for the gift!!! Is it a boy or girl?? The gift is nothing fancy, just fun and so cute!

Sunrise

I was driving Shelby to school the other day and thought what am "I" doing up before the sun??!! I am so not a morning person. At least after I drop Shelby off at school, I can go home and go back to bed!

too short??? or too tall???

This pic was taken with a cell phone and isn't very clear, but my question is... am I really that short? or is Reed just that tall??!!!! I never consider myself short, I am 5'6", nice, average height, but WOW! every now and then I will see a picture and think... "I'm short".

First Day of Sophomore Year

School started for Shelby on Aug. 25th. She had 4 days of school and then Labor Day a 4 day vacation! She is going to a brand new high school, just opened this year. Everything is Brand New! New desks, chairs, books, lockers, everything!

Twin Falls Temple (forgot to post)

On Wednesday August 13th, Shelby and I took Grandpa Keith and Shelby's friend, Heather, to the Twin Falls Temple Open House. The Temple was dedicated on Aug 24th. It was a beautiful day, nice drive, and nice company.

weekend in Vancouver

Reed, Shelby and I had a quick 48hrs in Portland/Vancouver this past weekend. On Saturday (23rd) our niece Missy Angle (Cindy's daughter) married a nice young man, named Nathan Shaw. They were sealed in the Portland Temple and the reception was at Camp Colton. Katelyn was the Maid of Honor and Brittany was a bridesmaid. Brittany's son Clayton, was the ring bearer. We had a fun weekend visiting with family.

These are the end of our Bear Lake vacation pictures! And there are a ton of miscellaneous pictures that we love and want to share! I will warn you now... there are lots and I don't expect you to look at them all!

PS. the cow butt picture... on our way to/from Minnetonka Caves, there were cows just wandering all over the mountainside and all over the road. We had to be careful not to hit the cows, they would just come out of the brush and cross the road without any warning!!!
