Friends and Valentines

We hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day doing something fun with a friend or loved one. Of course, flowers, chocolates, going out to dinner, a special date, etc... Or sometimes even more special, a quiet evening staying home for a home cooked meal. Not all dates happened on the 14th, as work schedules sometimes conflict, so the "special date" might be a day or two early or late..... but the love is still there! What I am getting at is... We LOVE our friends and family! We hope everyone had a good time with a special someone! Thanks for your love and influence in our lives! We Love You!

Sweethearts Dance

On Saturday night, all of the local high schools had a Sweethearts Dance. The dance was at the Jordan Ballroom in the Student Union on the Boise State University campus. Tickets had to be purchased through ticket outlets (not at the high school). The tickets looked like concert or sporting event tickets. Shelby went with her friend Tony, (from her seminary class), they were part of a group of 6 kids. Tony and Shelby had dinner at Red Robin first and then on to the dance at BSU. Tony brought her a rose when he came to the house.

Ice...

We have had an unusally cold and snowy winter this year! Most of the newer neighborhoods in this area have water features at the entrances of the neighborhoods. This is a "bubbler rock" water feature of the next neighborhood over. Not much snow this day, but cold temperatures!!!

We've Joined....

We've joined the world of blogging. This will be a fun way to keep family and friends updated on what we are doing. Shelby has been wanting to do this for awhile. I think she wants us to show pictures of our "baby" (Shelby, is the only one left at home). We will try to post lots of interesting pics and get pics of Aaron, and Rachel & Mark also.
