On his real bday, Shelby was out of town and Mark was working, so Reed, Rachel and I went out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. We had a good time, even though it was only half the family. On Saturday night we all went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Then on Sunday we sang to Reed with German Chocolate Cake and Ice Cream. (miss you Aaron).

Behind on Posting
I have been behind on my posting/blogging duties, so here is a quick update. Reed, Shelby and I went to Vancouver over Presidents Day wkend also Valentine's Day. On Feb 15th Reed ordained Mark an Elder and gave him the Melchezdek priesthood. On the 16th Rachel moved to Meridian, ID. She drove a U-Haul truck with Mark and Rachel's things. On Mar 1st, Mark drove to Meridian to join Rachel. The two of them will be living with us for a few months until they get jobs and find a place to live. We are excited to have them with us. Aaron stayed in Vancouver, he is still living in Grandpa's house.
Rachel has created a blog for them... www.ranjels.blogspot.com
Shelby sang the national anthem at a boys varsity basketball game. She sang accapella. The national anthem is a hard song to sing with music, let alone no music. She did a fabulous job.

New Puppy
We adopted a new puppy (from craigslist). She is a chihuahua, her name is Chloe. Her first vet visit at 5 wks old she weighed 1 lb 2 oz. At her second vet visit at 9 wks old she was 2 lbs even. Rolo absolutely loves Chloe. Rolo plays with Chloe and mothers her. Pickle on the other hand, does not give Chloe the time of day.

Karla to Tucson
I got to go to Tucson Jan 21st to Jan 25th. I was there for Grandpa Keith's birthday on Jan 23rd. Adrian and Dustin had a beautiful baby girl "Hayley Marie Sanders" on Jan 18th, so I got to meet Hayley also. Nancy came from Vancouver, WA and Kendle came from Provo, UT for the festivities. We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner (my favorite restaurant) also we went to the Gaslight Theatre, which was my first time and Mark's mom and dad came also. Also Austin and Kendle brought friends, It was so much fun.

Thanksgiving
I thought I better post Thanksgiving... before Christmas gets here!! Reed, Shelby and myself drove to Vancouver, WA and spent Thanksgiving with Rachel, Mark and Aaron and then we had dessert with the Claytons. We were also able to see Scott and Wanda on Friday. It was a short trip, but we are looking forward to spending 10 days at Christmas.
