Spring Break Slide Show

Too many fun pictures at the coast over Shelby's spring break the last week in March. We had Easter at the condo/coast and lots of fun with Rachel, Mark and Aaron with us for 4 days also. Good food, fun, movies, games, swimming, hot tubbing, campfires, s'mores, horseback riding, go carts, Shelby did tilt a whirl (nobody else would ride it with her... affectionately called tilt a hurl.)

Happy Belated Birthday to ME!! (April 17th)!!! The beautiful yellow bouquet was from Grandpa Keith. The roses and tulips were from Reed. We went to Olive Garden for dinner. I had a great birthday. Yes, I am way behind in updating our blog. I still have not finished with our spring break trip in March! Plus, we had a "weekend away". I'm hoping to get caught up soon, so be sure and check back. Sweet 16

Happy SWEET 16th Birthday SHELBY!!! ( DOB 4/9/1992)
Shelby had a cute outfit picked out with capri's and flipflops, and we woke up to snow!! She got to scrape off the car on her 16th birthday. I gave her a red rose, and then took her to McDonalds for breakfast on the way to school. Woohoo!!!


Shelby had the front door "Heart Attacked" welcoming her to Laurels, and her Mia Maid advisor brought over lemon bars. She also had mutual on her birthday and Reed had been out of town, but got home while she was at church. I wrapped all her presents individually and put them in one bag, new earrings, a month of unlimited tanning, new make up, fun socks, etc. Reed brought home the huge bouquet of flowers for her. We had one more surprise present for her... when she finally went to her room to get ready for bed, we had purchased her a matching night stand for her bedroom set, she screamed in happiness. (She just painted her bedroom "purple" last weekend, we will do a post when her room is all put back together.)

On Monday of Spring Break (March 24th) we had sunny weather at Long Beach, WA. We went horseback riding on the beach. It was cold and windy, but it was sunny!

Rachel, Mark and Shelby rode Go-Carts. Still, it was cold, just look at Rachel!! We love you Rachel!!

Easter (and Spring Break)

Easter was spent with the kids at Ocean Park, WA on the Long Beach Penisula. We had rented a condo for the week (Shelby's spring break). The Easter Bunny found the kids at the condo with gift bags and chocolate nests filled with goodies. We went to church at a branch in Long Beach, I counted 72 people in Sacrament meeting. Reed made his Sunday breakfast of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast, juice, chocolate milk. Then later for dinner we had ham, stuffed mashed potatoes, strawberry jello salad w/cool whip, 7-layer salad and crescent rolls. That was alot of food and goodies for one day! We ended the day by playing "Apples to Apples".

Happy Birthday Reed

April 2nd... Happy Birthday Reed!!!!! Last night Reed, Shelby and I went to Texas Roadhouse for Reed's birthday dinner. Tonight, Shelby had YW, so we had cake and presents before Shelby went to church, then Reed and I went to Fuddruckers for a burger for dinner. Happy Birthday Reed. (I wanted to throw Reed a big party when he turned 40, but we had just moved to New Jersey, now he is... (45)... and we are in Boise... I wonder where we will be when he turns 50. Hopefully, he will get a big party on a birthday sometime!!!!) We Love YOU!!!!

We also had birthdays with family in Vancouver when we were home over spring break (March 22-29) those vacation and birthday pictures are yet to come.... horse back riding, bonfire on the beach, s'mores, tilt a'whirl, easter and birthdays.....
