Surprise Snowstorm

March 30, 2010

Today we had a sudden snowstorm! It was wet and slushy and not really cold, so the snow did not last very long. It started out raining, then hailing, then snowing. The snow was enough to cover the ground and the daffodils looked awfully cold! The snow was only around for a couple hours, so not too bad!!

The pic of Dusty and Pickle on the porch was taken Aug 2000. The pic of Dusty and Pickle sitting for Grandma Marge was taken at Cape Lookout on the Oregon Coast May 2000.

Nancy's dog Dusty was a good dog. Pickle used to be so red and skinny, Now in Jan 10, Pickle is fat and gray, almost blind and yes, we do put costumes or baby doll clothes on our dogs. Grandma Marge always was good to the dog's no matter what she said how she felt about dogs. The family picture w Grandma might have been one of the last pictures taken. It was around the 1st of Oct 2006, right before the Claytons moved to Idaho.

Yesterday March 14, 2010 would have been Grandma Marge's 84th birthday. We love and miss you! But look forward to seeing you again someday in the eternities!

Divorce

As we are now a broken family... I am changing the name of our blog. Reed has filed for divorce after almost 26 yrs of marriage. I am a mess. I am heartbroken. Reed is the love of my life. Reed has been my rock, through my issues and my ups and downs. I met Reed when I was 15 yrs old. The divorce is 100% his choice. No matter the counsel we have received from our bishop, from our stake president and from my psychologist, Reed is set on divorce. What more can I say? We are not a forever family, our family will never be together forever. I am a mess, I cry everyday, and I don't really understand why we cannot work on our relationship and our marriage? (in crying tears...)  Reed, I will always love you.
