(part 5) Mt Lemmon

On Wed (3/5) Kelsey and Austin both had a half day of school which was nice, because Dad, Tanya and I, were already planning a trip up Mt. Lemmon to have lunch and pie at a little cafe that we had heard about. It was fun that Kelsey and Austin got to join us. We went from Tucson's elavation of about 2500' and 75* to the cafe's elavation of about 8000' and 43*. Yes, there was snow on the sides of the road, I got out to take pictures and Austin got out to grab a handful of snow! We went from saguaro cactus to snow in about an hour's drive. Again, another fun outing. Thanks Grandpa for treating us to lunch and pie!

Kendle at least has a good excuse for not going since she's 2 hours away...but I have no excuse. I work way too much, that's all I know. What a fun afternoon ride! Kendle is totally right...you definitely got the best of everything on this trip! We loved having you here!

I hope you'll be able to come down for another bridal shower! (I'm pretty sure it will be within the next 3 1/2 years)! ;) Maybe Dustin and I can come up to Idaho and see you guys! Tell Uncle Reed and Shelby Hi! Talk to you soon!
