On July 6, on our Bear Lake vacation, we took an afternoon and went to Minnetonka Caves. The caves are 40* and are 444 stairs in and 444 stairs out. The cave was discovered in 1907 by a grouse hunter and the caves were opened to the public in 1947. It is a live, wet cave. Rachel literally could "see the light at the end of the tunnel", she only had a few sets of stairs left to exit the cave tour and she slipped and fell on the wet stairs and broke her right arm.
So we got to spend the rest of the afternoon in the Montpelier, ID Hospital ER. They had to call in the xray tech, he showed up in shorts and a t-shirt, then they had to call in the ER doctor, he showed up eating peanuts in the shell. He was talking to Rachel eating/cracking peanuts. It was a very relaxed hospital!!!
